hello commons community!
Easter was such a sweet time together, full of community, connection, and love. From baptisms at Lake Mary to a joyful park potluck, egg hunt, and meaningful service, it felt like a beautiful reflection of what this season is all about: new life in the spring.
|
Throughout the month, we’ve also leaned into thoughtful conversations around life, theology, politics, and the world around us, while sharing an update on our first-quarter finances. And in the midst of it all, we’ve been soaking up the beauty of spring and the sense of newness it brings.
|
We’re grateful to be in this season together.

As many of you know, the Flagstaff Youth Co-Op serves our middle school and high school students, meeting every other Sunday evening for games, lessons, and discussion! They are currently doing an envelope fundraiser. This means they have a board with 50 envelopes. Each envelope has a different amount written on it. Please review the board and select an envelope labeled with the amount you'd like to give. You can place cash or a check in the envelope and return it to the board by May 31st, or make an electronic donation through Zelle. Contact flagyouthcoop@gmail.com for more info!

The Commons is an inclusive, progressive, local church where we celebrate God’s light in everyone and seek to make the world a kinder, more compassionate place. We’re a diverse community, some of us committed to following Jesus, others simply exploring what that might look like, and there’s space here for all of it.
| Whether you share our beliefs or are just curious, you are welcome. The Commons is a safe place to ask questions, build meaningful connections, and grow together.
