CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The Commons Children’s Ministry is an important pillar of our church. We believe that God cares deeply about every child and wants them to know how loved and wanted they are. With that as a foundation, we hope to give families at The Commons a positive experience at each Sunday service, as well as outside of our service time. Our mission is that every child in our community (newborn to 5th grade) would consistently hear the good news of the Gospel and God’s love for them in a safe, fun and positive environment. Also, that families would connect and feel supported in their faith and parenting journeys.
TREE HOUSE (NEWBORN - AGE 2)
Safety is a priority with our little ones! Infants & toddlers have separate sections of the room for certain activities. Each Sunday there will be a mini lesson done with the older kids so they can still engage with some simple content as they prepare to move up to the next class.
BASE CAMP (AGE 3 - 1ST Grade)
Each week our Base Camp kids engage in play time, crafts, a snack, and a lesson! They also have been learning some songs and motions together. We hope they make friends and learn about how much God loves them.
SUMMIT (2Nd - 5TH GRADe)
Base Camp is here to create a healthy ministry experience where kids can learn about the love of Jesus in a creative, fun and safe environment. We engage in journaling, discussion, crafts, songs, snack and focus on the gospel of Jesus.
All volunteers have been trained and have gone through background checks. If you ever have any questions or feedback regarding our Children’s Ministry, feel free to email Sara Henderson.
