Flag Loop

Challenge

Can you complete the Flag Loop Challenge?

— A fundraising event for The Commons —

The Flagstaff Loop Trail is a 42 mile loop on the Urban Trail System that circles the whole city. Our community at The Commons is taking the month of September to encourage people to get moving on the loop trail while supporting our mission to inspire kindness, justice, and inclusion. Here’s how it works:

  • Decide how you want to explore the loop trail: Either all in one day, or spaced out between September 1st-28th, choose if you would like to run, bike, hike, relay with friends, or just do part of the trail ending at our finish line on September 28th.

  • Set a fundraising goal: If you raise over $1000 you receive a free Flagstaff Loop Trail T-Shirt! When choosing your fundraising goal, consider how many people you plan to send letters to and what you think is possible, but don’t be afraid to dream big with us. We hope that the minimum goal would be $500, the max goal would be around $5000, and the average goal would be $2000. Any goal is welcome and we are grateful for any support!

  • Register your challenge goal: Complete the form below. After you submit your info we will make sure you know all the info and keep you informed and supported in your journey.

  • Send support letters to friends and family: We have created a support letter template you can use and edit to make your own. This letter will have information on the challenge you are taking on, and explain the reason you are doing it to raise money for this organization that you care deeply about. The letter includes details on how people can donate specifically under your name.

  • Buy a T-Shirt: Order your “Flag Loop Challenge” shirt for $25 by filling out this form and completing the payment. (Reminder: If you raise $1000 or more you get a shirt for free!)

  • Track your progress: As donations come in we will keep you updated on your progress so you know how close you are to reaching your fundraising goal.

  • Hit the trail: Get out and enjoy the sunshine. Here is a map of the Flagstaff Loop Trail.

  • Party with us on September 28th: Celebrate the completion of your personal Flag Loop Challenge at the Fort Tuthill Posse Ramada at 4pm.
