One of the biggest ways we can serve the at-risk population right now is to stay home as much as possible to help stop the spread of this virus. We also recognize that there are major needs in our city at this time and we are committed to stepping in and doing what we can, when we can. If you are healthy and able to help serve in this time of need, here is what we are focusing on locally.
This week’s “Fill the Truck” is supporting local undocumented friends & families! They have a need for Beans, Rice, Lentils, Tortillas, Cereal, Bread, Cooking oil, Cheese, Potatoes, Pasta, Mayonnaise, Juices, Vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, chili peppers, onions), Fruits (bananas, apples, oranges), Cookies, Soap, Toothpaste, Toilet paper, Chlorine, Laundry soap, Shampoo, Feminine towels, Diapers, & Baby wipes. Please consider donating supplies if you are able. If you would prefer not to come out on Friday afternoon, you have the option to Venmo us @thecommonschurch and we will purchase supplies on your behalf. Bring donations to the alleyway/parking area outside of our downtown office (16 E. Route 66, Suite 203).
