Would your business like to be a SPONSOR for The Costume Run?
What is The Costume Run?
The Costume Run is a local fundraiser 5K and 1 mile run/walk located at the beautiful Buffalo Park. All proceeds raised at The Costume Run go to support local and global non-profits. This isn't just any fun run, it's a Halloween themed fun run, which means participants are encouraged to wear a costume!
What organizations/programs will the proceeds be supporting?
All sponsor donations and registration payments will be donated to the following 6 organizations:
Speak Up for the Poor - Transforming the world by educating and empowering girls in poverty. Serving more than 1,450 girls in 35 Bangladesh villages and urban areas, helping them stay in school and out of child marriage and brothels. (speakupforthepoor.org)
Flagstaff Family Food Center - Providing hunger relief and children’s literacy programs to Flagstaff families. (hotfood.org)
Life Ansanm - Partnering with the community of Cap Rouge, Haiti in the needs of education, job creation, community development, church, and family care. (lifeansanm.org)
Beloved Arise - Celebrating and empowering LGBTQIA+ youth of faith. (belovedarise.org)
Immigrant Family Food Share - Providing food to local undocumented families in need in Northern AZ.
Northern Arizona Interfaith Council - Building leadership for civic participation across lines of race, class, age, and religion and organizing for issues that advance the common good. (naicl.org)
Why a fundraiser for these non-profit organizations?
These are organizations that we believe are doing amazing work in our city and around the world.
Since the hit of the pandemic, The Commons has struggled to have the financial resources to maintain donations to these programs in the amounts we would like. Our hope is that this event allows us to support these organizations and the great work they do.

Sunday, October 29th from 10am-Noon. Located at Buffalo Park, 2400 N Gemini Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86004

What does it mean to be a sponsor?
We are asking if you would like to “sponsor a quarter mile” at The Costume Run! This means that your business can choose to make a tax-deductible donation of anywhere between $500 and $5000 to support the listed local and global non-profits, and in return we will promote your business in multiple ways. Some businesses may choose to make smaller donations or donate gift cards or products that can be given as prizes.
Sponsor Benefits:
If you choose to be a sponsor your business will receive the following:
A proof of donation receipt in order to write off the tax-deductible donation
2 free entries for the run
A social media post thanking your business
2 Printed signs that will be placed along the run
You/your staff members have the opportunity to stand along your quarter mile and cheer on the runners or put candy or merchandise in their trick or treat bags as they run by.
An announcement will be made at the event thanking you as a sponsor.
Your business is welcome to use space at one of our provided tables to put out flyers, business info, stickers or any other goodies you would like.
We will also provide you with flyers/registration forms for The Costume Run if you would like to put them out at your business.
